Hi Blondie,
It's so good to see you're still kicking.

i was blown away when i found these watchtower records with rutherford on them.
these aren't the ones that were used door to door.
these are 16 inch records that were sent to radio stations to broadcast rutherford over the airwaves.

the following is a conversation i had with my pimi father regarding a news segment on tv dealing with csa.
joe: that’s terrible the incidences of csa happening in the community.
dad: yes it is.
C sa?
Amen
so i was watching an evans video he just put out where he was interviewing a man about how the cult treated his daughter who was rapped as a criminal.
the man said his wife's first experience with an apostate site was here.
i could tell by the look on his face he did not like that site and then could not help himself and said that he could not recommend going to this site.

Excellent comments. Yes, this site is mainstream right with staunch supporters of Trump and his ilk. While I voted for the man the first time around, I wouldn't give him the time of day -- as if he needs it.
While McCain was incarcerated for more than 5 years, Trump spent his time ogling women and golfing. To make it worse he called McCain a coward for being captured.
"Presidential candidate Donald Trump sparked yet another backlash among his fellow Republican candidates Saturday when he said that Sen. John McCain was only considered a war hero because he was captured - and seemed to mock him for that fact."
As to Evans, he is doing a great service with his videos. He's not perfect, nor is this site -- which I used to love 16 years ago when I joined and when the issues were mainly Watchtower and its dropouts and experiences. When those topics thinned out it shifted to the political spectrum.
hi friends,.
are here still some oldtimers from the earlier jwd time?
gorby .
I've been here some 16 years, out of org for 44 years.
maybe someone has already brought this up, but a news article i ran across:.
https://www.cnn.com/2020/12/03/health/churches-covid-1918-lesson-wellness/index.html.
brings a question to my mind.
You'd think that Watchtowers (Zion's Watch Tower and Herald of Christ's Presence) would have something to say about such a profound happening.
Anyone?
i just joined a few days ago and the topic is true.
john (not his real name) is my wife's nephew and got killed in a road accident 2 1/2 years ago.. i've therefore come to the conclusion that most folks wanting me to be their friend are simply a computer algorithm, that my feeling bad by not answering their plea would hurt their feelings and risk our friendship, is not founded on reality.. on another topic, one question that i have is: if i search for a person on facebook does that person somehow learn that i did a search for him?.
my son, who is a facebook expert, of sorts, says no.. what say you?.
Your concerns, Stan, have been my concerns as well. Sorry about that cousin of yours.

if my faded memory is correct, tom cheiky was an overseer at 117 adams st. bldg 1 floor 3 or 4 back in the 70's.
i don't ever recall talking with him, but my buddy did, both of us were waking up together, he asked him about all the crazy stuff we printed over the years.
tom's reply was, 'sometimes, they just went overboard on their teachings.
Am I missing something? Was the link to the video by the original poster removed?
If so, why?
